Big Brothers Big Sisters (Community Outreach)

Treasure Hunt: Discovery Summer Camp 2008
This year’s summer camp will be from June 9th through August 15th. We will be closed July 4th. Open from 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday. The Treasure Hunt: Discovery program is going to be a fun-filled interactive program games, exercise, academic enrichment, arts & crafts and bible time. Weekly field trips will include going to the local parks, swimming at the Rec. Center, movies and other adventures. There may be additional costs for some field trips. The cost is $100 weekly with a $30 registration fee per family. This price includes daily nutritious lunches and snacks. Registration has started. Reserve your spot now. Living Waters Summer Camp (Summer Camp)

Living Waters Summer Camp is now enrolling 4 year olds through 5th graders for a summer of fun filled with weekly themes, water play, crafts, games, music, chapel, miniature golf, cooking, ping-pong, jewelry making, badminton, croquet, movies, kickball, drama, Spanish, Bible stories, end of summer finale and more! We offer full-time camp beginning June 4 – August 13 M-F from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for $105/week and part-time camp beginning June 9 – August 8 M-F from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for $60/week. Camp Joy (Children)

Camp joy is a Christian non-profit organization that reaches out to the homeless children of Pinellas and now Hillsborough County FL.
Each kid has their own mentor/counselor. This provides for a caring, loving, one-on-one environment that the kids don't typically get at home. They are able to experience and do things they dont typically get to to do. ie: Canoeing, ropes course, buffet style eating, desert for breakfast, etc. Whatever makes them happy.
The ultimate goal however, is salvation. We are not only here to let them have fun, but to also poor into their lives spiritually. Many kids are saved, and it is amazing!
Camp Joy is 4 days and 3 nights held at DaySpring Conference Center (Ellenton, FL) . This year it will be held on July 3-6.
